1. Introduction

SellerRelay is operated by Dalegas Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). SellerRelay is a platform that provides AI-powered operational insights for Amazon sellers through Slack integration. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and delete your information when you use our website and services.

By using SellerRelay, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address (used for authentication and communication)
  • Name (if provided or obtained via Google OAuth)
  • Profile image (if provided via Google OAuth)

2.2 Amazon Selling Partner API Data

When you connect your Amazon Seller Central account, we access data through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) including:

  • Sales and order data (revenue, units, order details)
  • Inventory levels and FBA stock information
  • Refund and return data
  • Seller account identifiers (Seller ID, Marketplace IDs)

We use OAuth for Amazon authorization and never store your Amazon credentials. OAuth tokens are stored securely in AWS Secrets Manager.

2.3 Slack Workspace Data

When you install SellerRelay to your Slack workspace, we collect:

  • Slack workspace ID and name
  • OAuth access tokens for posting messages to your channels

We only read messages that are directed to the SellerRelay bot (slash commands and direct mentions). We do not read or store your general Slack messages.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect basic usage data including pages visited, commands used, and error logs to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the SellerRelay service
  • Deliver Amazon seller insights and analytics through Slack
  • Process slash commands and AI-powered queries about your data
  • Send daily briefings and inventory alerts
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Communicate with you about service updates and support
  • Improve and optimize our service

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Storage

  • Account and membership data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by a SOC 2-compliant provider
  • Amazon SP-API credentials and tokens are stored in AWS Secrets Manager
  • Operational data (tenant records, cached analytics) is stored in AWS DynamoDB

4.2 Security Measures

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  • All data is encrypted at rest
  • OAuth 2.0 is used for all third-party integrations — we never store your Amazon or Slack passwords
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel
  • We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • With Slack: To deliver messages, alerts, and responses to your Slack workspace
  • With Amazon: To authenticate and retrieve your seller data via the SP-API
  • Subprocessors: With trusted infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf under written agreements imposing equivalent data protection obligations. Current subprocessors include: AWS (hosting, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB), Vercel (web hosting), and our PostgreSQL database hosting provider (account data)
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Amazon SP-API data: Cached analytics data is retained according to your plan tier (7 to 90 days). Raw API data is not permanently stored.
  • OAuth tokens: Revoked and deleted when you disconnect an integration or delete your account.

In all cases, we delete seller data when it is no longer needed to provide the service, upon account deletion, or upon your request, subject to any legal retention requirements.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@sellerrelay.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Amazon Data Protection
